“Music is Life” is the concept that without music there would be no life. Music is a fundamental part of every single human. Music brings people together, makes them emotional stronger and happier. Music is something each person can relate too, so I took the visual aspect of music (record album covers) and placed different parts together to visualize how different people (like different genres of music) come together to celebrate the unique collection of sounds. Thus “Music is Life”.

For the 2010 MOCA-GA Pin Up Show, I wanted to create a piece that was intricate in every detail, but more importantly a piece with a well developed concept that a whole society could connect too. I also wanted to break the idea of a wall hanging artpiece, and developed a process to make the art come alive. I created my very first flexible-art piece, a piece that allows the owner to change the viewpoint at any time they please. Therefore their art piece is more then just an investment for their collection, but truly a living artful form within itself.
